1) Wine Futures

All futures orders are subject to confirmation. All futures purchases are non-refundable.

2) Payment & Taxes

• Payment in full at purchase by cash, check, bank transfer, or Visa/Mastercard/Discover. Per American Express policy, we cannot accept American Express for Wine Futures.
• New York sales tax is not charged at purchase. For orders delivered in New York, applicable sales tax will be collected at fulfillment.

3) Confirmation & Ownership

Following processing of a futures order and receipt of payment or deposit, a pro forma invoice will be mailed or emailed to your billing address. This invoice, together with proof of payment, guarantees ownership of the wines.

• Once the invoice has been sent and payment/deposit received, the order is final and cannot be cancelled or modified.
• Additional futures may be ordered later but will be invoiced and paid separately.
• Some states may prohibit or restrict “futures” sales; you are responsible for understanding and complying with applicable state laws.

4) Arrival Windows & Delays

Projected arrival and delivery dates for futures are estimates only and may vary by several months, depending on the estate’s release and other factors. We may provide an ETA as guidance, but this is not a promise or guarantee of any specific date. By buying futures, you accept that delayed arrival is not a valid reason to cancel an order. We will notify you when your wine has arrived and is ready for fulfillment.

5) Storage, Pick-Up & 30-Day Window

• When wines are ready, Wine88.com will contact you to collect applicable sales tax (if any), shipping fees, and confirm delivery arrangements.
• You have 30 days from notification to pay remaining charges and either take delivery or pick up at the Wine88.com retail premise.
• No futures merchandise will be delivered or released for pick-up until all outstanding charges are paid in full.
• Wine88.com does not store wines for customers at its retail premise or elsewhere. If payment is not completed within 30 days of notice, we reserve the right to cancel the order.

6) Import Duties & Trade Policy

• You are responsible for any and all Import Duties applicable to your purchase, including duties enacted after purchase but prior to importation.
• You may not cancel, rescind, or fail to make timely payment due to Import Duties, adoption of new trade policies, or changes to bilateral/multilateral trade agreements.

7) Pre-Arrivals

Orders for wines sold as “Pre-Arrivals” for future delivery are normally due in full at the time of order. Some states may prohibit or restrict such sales; you are responsible for compliance.

• After processing a Pre-Arrivals order, an invoice will be mailed or emailed. This invoice plus proof of payment guarantees ownership.
• Once the invoice has been sent and payment received, the order is final and cannot be cancelled or modified.
• Projected arrival/delivery dates are estimates only and may vary by several months depending on our next shipment.
• When wines are ready, Wine88.com will contact you to confirm delivery arrangements.

8) Availability & Refunds

If any wines ordered as Futures or as Pre-Arrivals are unavailable at the time of delivery, Wine88.com will refund the full value of the affected items as originally invoiced.
