The 2021 Château Haut-Bailly, a classified growth from Pessac-Léognan, is composed of about 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot, with an alcohol level around 13%. This vintage offers a refined and elegant style, showing aromas of cassis, cherry, violets, and subtle spice, accented by cedar and graphite notes. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with polished, firm tannins, lively acidity, and a long, restrained finish.
