TTL Taiwan Premium 20 Years Shaohsing Wine
TTL Taiwan Premium 20 Years Shaohsing Wine is a premium aged rice wine produced by Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Corporation, commonly known as TTL. TTL originated from Taiwan’s former Monopoly Bureau and is now a state-owned Taiwanese producer of alcoholic beverages.
Shaohsing, also spelled Shaoxing, is a traditional Chinese huangjiu-style rice wine made through fermentation with rice, water, and wheat-based starter. It is widely used both as a drinking wine and in Chinese cuisine. This 20-year aged expression offers a deeper, smoother, and more mature profile, with layered aromas of aged rice wine, mellow sweetness, caramel-like notes, and a long, rounded finish.
It can be served at room temperature or gently warmed, and pairs especially well with rich Chinese dishes such as braised pork, soy-braised meats, ginger duck, Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, three-cup chicken, and other savory banquet-style dishes.
