Lu Zhou Lao Jiao Zisha Daqu is a strong-aroma baijiu from Luzhou Laojiao, one of China’s most established producers of Sichuan-style baijiu. “Zisha” refers to the purple clay ceramic bottle traditionally associated with Yixing, Jiangsu Province. Luzhou Laojiao’s international description notes that the baijiu is bottled in a zisha purple clay vessel, a material often associated with breathability and traditional Chinese craftsmanship.
This baijiu shows the classic profile of strong-aroma baijiu: pronounced cellar aroma, rich grain character, floral notes, ripe fruit, and a light peppery edge. Retail descriptions also describe it as showing floral notes, cracked pepper, and candied fruit. The palate is full-bodied and aromatic, with a smooth but powerful finish.
